This form requests your agreement to allow your child to be photographed and/or filmed. The photography and/or filming may occur at any selections, training sessions, team photos, club photos, presentations, games or carnivals.
You have the option to tick those selections you are in agreement with.
You can also opt out of having your child photographed and/or filmed by selecting the box indicating that you do not consent.
Our commitment to Families, as part of our Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy:
(a) When arranging official photography/videography of Children and Young People (‘Children’) involved in our sport, we will:
i. obtain prior written consent from the Child, and their Child’s parent or carer. This may include electronic messaging formats such as email or SMS;
ii. give due consideration to Children who are protected by a court order;
iii. appoint a photographer/videographer who holds a current WWCC;
iv. ensure the photographer/videographer is supervised at all times;
v. ensure the images are used solely for the purposes for which they are intended;
vii. not distribute images or videos (including as an attachment to an email) to anyone outside our organisation without parent/carer knowledge and approval.
(b) We will store images (digital or hard copy) in a manner that prevents unauthorised access by
others, and ensure images are destroyed or deleted as soon as they are no longer required.
(c) We will not publish images or footage of a Child or identify the Child pictured, whether online or in print, without written consent from the Child and their Parent/Carer.
(d) We will ensure any Employee, Volunteer or Contractor (such as an event photographer) comply with the above requirements whilst working at an Activity for our sport.
Your Commitment as part of our Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy:
In accordance with our sport’s Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy, we do not permit photographs or video of other children to be taken and posted to private social media accounts without prior consent from both the child and their parent/carer.
Please Note: Where events are undertaken in public spaces, photographs/video may be taken without permission from parents/carers, as the policies of our organisation are not enforceable in public areas.
