HEAVY RAIN, LIGHTING / THUNDERSTORMS
Please do note that our general policy is to continue with play in light rain.
In the event of weather impacting games, all Teams will be contacted via email and a notice will be posted on our Facebook page.
Decisions are based on a risk assessment of field conditions and weather conditions, rain alone on otherwise solid fields, may not lead to game cancellations.If a wet weather notice is not posted on our Facebook page, games will progress as scheduled.
EXTREME CONDITIONS (HEAT)
At Hounds Touch, player safety always comes first. Before training or games, we assess the risk of heat-related illness by considering both the air temperature and relative humidity, in line with Touch Football Australia guidelines.
Depending on the conditions, training or games may proceed as normal, be modified (such as additional drink breaks or reduced playing time), postponed, or cancelled.
