HOUNDS DEVELOPMENT AND REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM
Eligible Hounds Touch players are invited to trial for participation in our Hounds Development and Representative Program.
Participation in this program includes access to academy clinics featuring targeted sessions focused on specific skill development, delivered by our experienced representative coaches.
Players may then be considered for the representative pathway, with selection for our development and representative teams based on a competitive trial process.
Through this program, you will have the opportunity to train alongside experienced players, develop specialised touch abilities, and play at the highest level at the Junior State Cup with other like-minded athletes.
Successful players must be prepared to attend and actively participate in a series of carnivals across Southeast QLD and Brisbane, as well as weekly training sessions from March to June.

CFMG CAPITAL HOUNDS ACADEMY
The CFMG Capital Hounds Academy is a four-week development program designed for current and aspiring players in the Hounds Development and Representative pathways.
Held annually across the end of the year (November/December) and into the beginning of the new year (January/February), the Academy provides players with the opportunity to build on their existing skills, develop advanced game techniques, and prepare for the next stage of their representative journey.
Delivered by the experienced coaches from the Hounds Development and Representative programs, each session focuses on high-quality coaching in a fun, challenging and supportive environment. Players will refine the fundamentals, improve game awareness and decision-making, and gain the confidence and skills to improve their chances of selection at the representative level.
Whether you're aiming to earn your first representative jersey or continue your development within the Hounds pathway, the CFMG Capital Hounds Academy is the perfect place to learn, grow and take your game to the next level.
JUNIOR STATE CUP TRIALS 2027
Our Junior State Cup Trials for 2027 will take place in early 2027 over two dates:
All successful players will have the opportunity to compete in the Queensland Touch Football Junior State Cup, 8th, 9th and 10th July 2027 in Rockhampton, as well as in the associated lead-in carnivals.
