HOUNDS DEVELOPMENT AND REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM
At Hounds Touch, we provide development and representative programs for junior boys and girls aged 8-18 years. Our framework and culture of player development and inclusion ensures that every player can embrace and enjoy being an active participant in the sport in a community environment. We do this by encouraging our players to always strive for excellence and to achieve their personal best, both on and off the field. It’s the ‘Hounds Way’.
We provide support and guidance that focuses on player development and inclusion, allowing every participant to thrive in a positive and supportive environment.
We believe that the champion athletes are not just those that are gifted with the most talent but, especially in a team context, are those that can work with others and have the mindset of wanting to keep improving.
With our experienced coaches and mentors, we strive to provide every player with the tools and guidance they need to succeed.
In the lead in to our representative season we offer academy sessions delivered by experienced coaches who provide targeted training to improve specific areas of your game. We offer a competitive program with trial processes and selection commitments to carnivals across Brisbane and South East Qld, as well as the opportunity to play at the highest level at the Junior State Cup with like-minded athletes.

CFMG CAPITAL HOUNDS ACADEMY
The CFMG Capital Hounds Academy has concluded for this year and will resume at the end of 2025.
This four-week program is designed for both current and aspiring players of the Hounds Development and Representative Program.

JUNIOR STATE CUP TRIALS 2025
Our Junior State Cup Trials for 2025 have concluded, and the successful players and teams will be announced soon.
All successful players will have the opportunity to compete in the Queensland Touch Football Junior State Cup (10th–12th July 2025) in Rockhampton, as well as in the associated lead-in carnivals.
Trial dates for 2026 will be released later this year, so stay tuned! We can’t wait to welcome you to the trials as part of our Hounds Development and Representative Program.
